Pantyings=pantyhose+paintings

I have reinvented the pantyhose (nylons) and integrated it into a new realm of life, no longer owned by its wearer. It is able to be independent and move outside the predefined boundaries. 

I have been working with pantyhose for over 15 years.

I originally began working with nylons because of their tensile strength, texture, and ease of obtaining, however my work has evolved over the years to use them in a variety of ways. They allow me to create the elements of art: line, shape, form, value, texture, and color with relative ease. When I am creating, I first gather all my materials, frame, nylons, paints, etc and then I let them dictate the flow of the piece. This collection is about letting go and letting the creation flow from intuition.
